Guardianship

A Guardian grants the legal right to manage everyday affairs of a loved one who is unable to make proper decisions for themselves.

The court will declare a person incapacitated when they can no longer make informed decisions, fail to provide food, clothing, and shelter, cannot care for their medical needs, and cannot make financial decisions.  These circumstances can be for a minor or an adult.  Sometimes a guardianship is needed when there are mental disabilities, illnesses, or an injury.

The Guardianship process can be a very stressful situation, this is when you will need qualified legal help.  If you are contemplating a Guardianship contact The Law Offices of Kelly Skenesky so that we can be there during this time of need to help and protect your loved one.
